The Course Development Writer is responsible for the thorough comprehension of subject matter materials, our online course template, and the Course Plan, a blueprint for writing an individual course. With the provided materials, the Course Development Writer will research, write and revise online courses within an ICDC College academic program to clearly and effectively engage students in the subject matter. Your deliverables will include: • Unit lectures • Discussion questions • Essay assignments • Review summaries • Quiz questions Interested candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in educational writing or instructional design. You should have the ability to write in an academic tone and incorporate subject-matter verbiage. A writing sample will be requested of qualified candidates. This position is freelance and will be contracted and paid on a project by project basis. Each project represents one online course, to be developed within a three week window. This position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail.
