Position Summary: The Enterprise Data Management Analyst is responsible for providing information from the business to support Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Solutions. They elicit and document business requirements which facilitate the development of complete, comprehensive Enterprise data solutions. They participate in the design, development, and support of Enterprise Data and Analytic solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Collaborate with business users to elicit information to support Enterprise Data and Analytic solutions to the organization. This includes facilitating requirements elicitation sessions. Collaborate with development staff to ensure that business (and/or functional) requirements documents are complete, comprehensive and unambiguous, and ensure development staff understands the intent of the request. · Analyze business requirements, applications, data source systems, reporting and analytical requirements to provide guidance to solutions that offer a solution to support the business needs. · Provide Data design, modeling - both analytical layers, as well as, presentation and reporting layers, data quality, business rules, user functionality requirements, to support a user friendly data and analytic environment. · Test Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence solutions. Create test case scenarios to validate the data model, data accuracy, business rules, and usability. Validate the solution to ensure it provides a user friendly interface to the data. · Provide support and lead efforts for Data Governance, to ensure the Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence Solutions are aligned. · Troubleshoot issues with the data, provide solutions, and implement solution to solve those issues. Other Duties and Responsibilities: · Mentor and train staff and business on use of the Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse/Analytic data, tools, and best practices. · In conjunction with the Enterprise Data Management team, devise, develop and deliver appropriate communications to other departments/areas to promote the mission of the Enterprise Data Management team. · Works with internal & external consultants and vendors. Educates the third party of any complexities associated with requests. Suggests proactively appropriate alternatives to achieve an equal or better result if possible. Education Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience is required.
