Customer has requested that Consultant provide assessments in the areas of: Data Storage Best Practices and Strategies Backup and Recovery Best Practices and Strategies Disaster Recovery Best Practices and Strategies Current Data Utilization and Demand Growth Projections This engagement shall consist of the following phases: I. Capacity Upgrade/Installation of Additional Storage to Existing Hitachi Frame(s) II. Discovery and Storage Assessment of Existing Storage Environment Infrastructure III. Analysis and Upgrade of Existing HDS Software within Customer Environment DELIVERABLES Phase I - Capacity Upgrade/Installation of Additional Storage to Existing Hitachi Frame(s) Install Hitachi Universal Volume Manager?? License Prepare external storage implementation planning documentation Do discovery of the defined external storage configuration (LUNs defined on external array(s) Planning and implementation of new or net-new storage to VSP External Storage, including presentation of new storage to the designated Host Storage Domains.
