They have a BA on the business side who is writing requirements but the person is not technical and will need help. This project is to consolidate all marketing/sales reports and get them over to a Microsoft BI stack. They currently have reports coming out of Cognos/Oracle (they feel that they can easily re-route these to a Microsoft stack) and Access. The Access reports are the issue as there are a lot of reports. They also have random reports coming out of various other source systems. They need someone who can communicate with the business, write requirements, and do the ETL work. BI Business Analyst/Developer Project Overview This resource will be leading an effort to transform our Sales and Marketing mixed BI environment into a centralized BI platform utilizing MS BI technology. This resource will: Analyze and document the current BI and information delivery capabilities Assist business in prioritizing tasks/developing near term plans Deliver results according to plan. Business Analyst Skills: 5+ years in BI analyst experience defining requirements, analyzing data, and developing designs for BI solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Manufacturing/Distribution business experience. Technical Skills: 5+ years with MS BI technologies. SharePoint experience. Cognos experience a plus .
