Our Client has the need for a consultant to come in and join their team of developers creating applications for on-air garms and touchscreen applications. This will start as a 3 month engagement with the high probability of extension up to 18 months. A Creative Application Developer is needed for the development of high-end custom solutions within a broadcast environment, including Web-based and Windows-based applications: e.g. touchscreen applications, on-air games and tablet app development for Apple and Android operating systems. 3+ years of professional programming experience developing scalable, Windows and web-based applications. Development using C#, WPF, Silverlight or ASP.NET in Visual Studio 2010. Web development using HTML5 is preferred. Experience with ADO.NET, XAML, XML, and XML-Schemas are beneficial but not required. Experience with Web APIs, experience in Game Development and touchscreen preferred. Extensive understanding of systems integration and distributed computing concepts. Experience working with video and other media preferred. Understanding of production and creative workflows is beneficial. All candidates will need to be eligible to work on our payroll (W2) without sponsorship.
