Paladin is in search of a Database Marketing Analyst to work at one of the top retail corporations in the country! This role is a long-term contract position and could turn will perm down the road for the right candidate.   Location :  Near-north Chicago suburbs Hours : Standard business hours Duration :  3-6 months minimum, full-time contract with potential to turn perm Rate : commensurate with experience – hourly rate translates to $53k annually Benefits : offered including: medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plus match Start Date :  ASAP Years of Exp .:  3-5 years of experience required   This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a high-profile marketing services team and play a vital role in supporting our client’s e-commerce marketing efforts by utilizing your database analytical skills to uncover trends in the marketplace.   The ideal person:   Must be very detail-oriented, have strong Unica skills (or similar program), be familiar with SQL, and have a desire to contribute to overall marketing campaign strategy.     Responsibilities:   Provide data and reporting for customer level data within client’s internal data warehouse: Perform analyses of customer transactional data sets and email response campaigns Oversee a database of 100k+ email subscribers, and pull lists of top-targeted consumers Analyze elements e-commerce process (e.g., e-mail marketing, lead acquisition) to funnel data to marketing team for overall development of  marketing strategy Analyze test design, selection criteria, and measurement plans Coordinate with IT staff regarding customer database enhancements and data integrity issues.
