Senior Java Software Engineer
US Citizens only Experis IT is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to work for a client of ours in the Bay Area. Our client is a profitable, fast growing technology company. They operate a highly sophisticated commercial earth-imaging satellite constellation enabling them to amass the largest database of high resolution imagery in the world. Their systems manage massive scale storage and processing of this data in order to provide imagery solutions to companies like Google, Microsoft, Garmin, Tele Atlas & Bushnell. Requirements Extensive experience programming in Java Extensive experience with Unix/Linux Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate) Web Services (SOAP, REST) Apache / Tomcat / Axis Toolkit Databases (Postgres, Oracle) Back-end Java Experience with Building online mapping services and applications Cloud Computing Infrastructure SaaS Practical Agile development lifecycle experience Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems. Experience building and releasing hosted products in competitive landscapes Proven start-up experience in complex engineering environments Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills Self started with the ability to multitask The ability to perform in a dynamic and process-improving environment. Ability to work in a team environment BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent (PhD a plus). Knowledge and Skills Excellent track record with premier, market-leading companies. Experience in a technology or scientific company desired. Strong client focus, business acumen and results orientation; both a strategic thinker and able to execute tactics. Ability to work in an unstructured environment to strategically set and achieve organizational goals
