Our client, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. Functions of the Position: Take responsibility for supervising the publication of the company's financial reports Analyze the company's financial statements and provide detailed reports and explain financial variances and trends at the company, department, and product levels Understand the company's internal administration system and reconcile the administrative data with the company's financial records Oversee accounting tests to ensure the correctness of the company's internal bookkeeping systems Act as a liaison between the business heads and the accounting department, gaining a good understanding of the company's business activities Work independently and in cooperation with other accounting department members with a high level of professional knowledge Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications: Have at least 3 years public auditing working experience with 5 or more years of internal accounting experience at a senior level Have exposure to the development and analysis of group financial statements (at least 3 to 4 subsidiaries) Have strong financial statements analysis knowledge and skills International and multi-currency accounting experience is highly desirable Be very organized, able to work independently, handle multiple tasks and be able to work with strict guidelines in a fast paced environment Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint) a must Have experience and knowledge of accounting software (full book level GL, AP, AR, cash management) Be a team player with the ability to form solid and productive business relationships internally Education: A B.A. degree in Accounting Active CPA credentials or its equivalent
