A client of Kforce is seeking a technical consultant, specializing in Java programming. This position is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities Include: Apply advanced programming techniques to develop robust, medium-to-large applications Demonstrate the ability to quickly and routinely Solve complex problems independently Understanding of the full application lifecycle from inception through maintenance Required Skills: Software design experience (able to participate in the design and understand their role) May have been a project owner and can explain it Able to display leadership skills Multi- platform/ languages is a plus More architectural experience Required Experience: Application development involving object oriented or J2EE technologies (JSP, EJB, Servlets, XML) Work experience with one or more of the following: J2EE .NET Web Portals SOA BPM Enterprise Application Integration/Message Oriented Applications Web content management Work experience with IBM WebSphere Suite is a plus Work experience with relational databases and web application servers Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly (recent examples include Hibernate, Spring, Ajax and AOP)
