Immediate openings for Electronic Maintenance Technicians. This individual will be responsible for trouble shooting and repairing electronic systems and controls on production equipment throughout the plant. Perform other duties as assigned. Full time 7-7 nights. Health care and other benefits are offered. Technical Abilities Is able to troubleshoot and repair the following: • Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems - (Siemans or Allen Bradley) • Adjustable Speed Motor Controls - (Servo) • AC/DC Power Control Circuits • Profibus • Hydraulic/Pneumatic Systems Is competent in the utilization of the following tools: • Oscilloscope • PC-based data logger • VOM • National electrical codes Job Requirements: The ideal candidate should possess excellent organization and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with vendors, members of the Lane Press management team and employees. Strong planning and project management skills combined with the ability to drive to fast and efficient results in a fast-paced manufacturing setting are needed. At least 3 years of experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of computer/PLC-based controls (associated with production equipment) is necessary. An Associates degree or equivalent is also required.
