SharePoint Developer 6 months SharePoint, Azure, .NET, HTML/JavaScript/CSS, Windows Azure, SQL Azure Redmond, WA Job Description Our clients team is looking for a SharePoint Developer to support our large scale business processes. This employee will be primarily responsible for the development of several business critical SharePoint solutions. Their team is looking for someone to assist us with developing SharePoint solutions for our operations projects. Their goals were increased by 15% this year (40% over the last 2 years) which means that many of their old systems cannot accommodate the volume. Their team is now up to about 90 full-time employees with an additional 70 contract employees working seasonally. All of their staff is hired for their ability to work with college students, so the team tends to be vibrant and engaging. They are also quite competitive and driven to succeed and would love to find a candidate who feels the same way. The ideal candidate will be able to gather requirements from those without deep technical knowledge and advise on the best way to build a technical solution to meet these needs. They must have experience with SharePoint development including the development of custom workflows. Experience with Azure, .NET, HTML/JavaScript/CSS, Windows Azure & SQL Azure are preferred. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience/training required. Responsibilities include: Produce and communicate development schedule to Project management team. Manage project to baseline schedule and escalate any scheduling or resource limitations to Program Manager. Work with business owner teams to understand desired system functionality. Drive Technology Architecture decisions. Communicate development status to project management and senior management. Assist in bug prioritization. Work with members of project team and vendors in accomplishing objectives. Skills: Ability to advise on the best way to build a technical solution to meet these needs. Must have experience with SharePoint development including the development of custom workflows. The duration will be for approximately 6 months, but there is definitely opportunity for extension if there is additional project work still to be completed.
