Responsibilities : As a member of the Product Development & Integration organization in Verizon Wireless, you will be responsible for developing mobile device security requirements and test plans. These requirements will target the broad range of operating systems that are utilized in our devices. The preferred candidate can speak with authority to the ongoing narrative of mobile device vulnerabilities, threats and countermeasures. The ideal candidate is someone who can work with network counterparts to design a networked security system from standard libraries from the ground up. The candidate should have demonstrated experience of implementing security solutions on mobile devices. Qualifications : BS Computer Science Degree required. no exceptions. Prefer Masters Degree. Two+ years of experience of analyzing security threats and implementing security solutions for wireless/telecom systems •Three+ years of security analysis or consulting, with an emphasis on penetration testing or security research PREFER CISSP CERTIFICATION Grasp of fundamental defensive security constructs, including digital signatures, encryption, firewalls, PKI, anti-debugging, AAA, key exchange, key entropy, software protection mechanisms, DRM. •Grasp of fundamental offensive security techniques, including reverse engineering, digital forgery, encryption attacks, debugging, defeating anti-debugging, MITM attacks, logic flaws, et al.
