The Mechanical Engineer will be a support/design role following directions from supervisor and executing project deliverables from start to finish. Duties: Responsibilities: As the Engineer you will be supporting the designs of projects assigned to a supervisor including planning, design, production of Mechanical building systems including heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, hydronic systems, and plumbing systems using REVIT, and performing calculations, sizing equipment and performing computer analysis of alternate systems. Coordinating technical and administrative activities with those of other disciplines and other departments in the company participating in the project. Conducting constructability reviews or assists in the design, planning, review of other mechanical engineering projects not assigned to the incumbent. Reviewing plans and prepares or reviews technical specifications, contract documents and estimates. Interacting and coordinating with architects and clients as it relates to technical design. Qualifications: Essential skills and experience: Proficiency in REVIT 10 years minimum experience in the Mechanical Engineering field related to facilities work Proficient or ability to learn COMCHECK, Trane Trace and other mechanical software or equivalent. Proficient or ability to learn AutoCAD, Excel, Word, Outlook, Access and other software.
