SFDCJP00001817 Lease Accounting Lead 07/23/2012 to 09/21/2012 USA-CA-San Francisco - Mission St (CA - San Francisco - Mission St) Staff Accountant (Leasing) The Staff Accountant will reside within the America’s corporate accounting team and report to the Sr. Manager of Technology Accounting and Asset Management. As a member of the accounting team, you will be working in a fast-paced, non-traditional environment while building relationships within the accounting team and the larger organization (e.g. FP&A, Sourcing, etc.). The Staff Accountant is responsible for many aspects of general ledger-related activities, such as proper application of US GAAP, accounting transactions, monthly close, balance sheet account reconciliations, and expense accruals. Responsibilities: • Responsible for monthly financial close activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations • Understand and ensure proper accounting of Facility and Equipment (Operating and Capital) Leases activities • Assist with overall month-end expense accrual process • Assist with Process Improvement activities currently underway within the group • Prepare monthly balance sheet flux variances analyses for management reporting • Provide support to the 10Q and 10K reporting process including preparing/reviewing supporting schedules • Provide US GAAP accounting guidance within the accounting team • Work cross-functionally with and support the Accounts Payable, Treasury and Finance & Strategy • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities • Responsible for supporting SOX compliance activities • Provide guidance to international entities, as needed • Assist in quarterly reviews and annual audit with external auditors Experience/Skills Required: • Bachelors, or equivalent, in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration • 2 to 3 years of accounting experience in a Big 4 or regional firm or a combination of Big 4/regional firm and industry • Experience in SOX control execution/documentation • Process oriented with strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, transforming environment • Strong Excel skills required • Ability to see the picture and not get buried in the details Experience/Skills Desired: • Technical accounting skills in a broad range of topics preferred • Oracle 11i and/or R12 experience • CPA (or CPA Candidate) preferred Thanks & Regards Ganesh Nomula Infobahn Softworld Inc ganesh@infobahnsw.com 408-413-1222 Ext: 203 Ph # 703-672-2327 Web: www.infobahnsw.com
