RM/CM Engineer Dallas, TX 2575- RM/CM Engineer Maxsys Solutions is excited to announce an opening as a RM/CM Engineer within the DFW area! The RM/CM Engineer this company is seeking will have experience with RM/CM and managing environments. RM/CM Engineer Responsibilities Own, coordinate and execute the strategy that facilitates ongoing parallel development, branching, versioning/labeling, merging and common library management for agile development team operations Develop complete mastery of selected tools that provide for efficient, automated build management and continuous integration of newly development software Develop an efficient, continuous integration minded experience for source management incorporating an appropriate mix of revision, baseline, branching, labeling, code quality tools, release packaging and promotion to QA Design, execute and deploy a packaged installation of development deliverables to all environments Maintain consistent and stable testing and production environments Develop procedures for the collection and reporting of certain release engineering artifacts and metrics Communicate and enforce appropriate best practices and standards for the development team Works with the Sr. RM Engineer, QA testers and Developers to troubleshoot and remediate issues found during all testing phases or production environments Will serve as a team member responsible for implementing change-control compliance and efficient communication Will serve as higher-tier application support within team Provide to the Sr. RM Engineer various data points regarding the health of the release through the development stages Will maintain consistent and stable production-like testing and production environments Will maintain documentation and communication of release plans, scheduling, and test environment status Works with development’s release engineer, quality assurance testers, and developers to troubleshoot and remediate issues found in the various test environments RM/CM Engineer Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years software configuration management experience with Microsoft web-based application development technology Minimum 3 years’ experience with IIS web server configuration in a Windows Server 2003 or 2008 environment Minimum 3 years’ experience with .Net windows services installation and configuration Required experience managing web applications in a multiple server web farm Required experience with .Net, VBS scripting, TeamCity, and windows command line Required experience with managing multi-team and multi-product release schedule Current and mastered knowledge of one or more source control and configuration management products Working understanding and dependencies of the GAC, .Net Assemblies, IIS and the MS .Net framework on Windows 2003/2008 Server Working experience with scalable, distributed enterprise windows environments Working understanding of Windows Server 2003 operating system, and its security Basic experience in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010 Basic experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 Ability to create/modify scripts and automation tools to streamline and enhance the build and deployment processes
