Contract-to-hire opportunity for a strong Firewall Administrator / Engineer with enterprise level experience Position is responsible for all network security / firewall-related issues on infrastructure team, including: -- Firewall administration for Cisco ASA 5500 Series and Checkpoint -- Design / modify / update all Firewall security policy issues -- Make recommendations and coordinate Firewall upgrades / process improvements -- Troubleshoot and resolve all Firewall issues (24/7 support) -- Ensure production stability of Firewall infrastructure -- Interface with other areas of organization regarding Firewall security Requirements: -- 5 years related experience in a corporate enterprise environment -- Strong, current Cisco ASA 5540 series experience at the enterprise level required (clustering, multiple context, firewall builds, etc.) -- Strong Checkpoint firewall experience -- Experience with multiple site firewall installations (preferably national / international in scope) -- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical abilities -- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -- Able to provide 24/7 support as needed -- Able to travel if needed (minimal) =========================================================================================================== KEYWORDS: Firewall Administrator, Firewall, CISCO ASA, Checkpoint Firewalls, Checkpoint Enterprise Security, CISCO PIX, Checkpoint, ASA 5500 Series, Security Administrator ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ If you are qualified and interested in this position, please submit your resume with 2-3 manager references.
