The Program Manager will execute large, complex enterprise projects and programs and is responsible for all aspects of program management spanning across the program lifecycle. The Program Manager is well versed in program management methodology, has a rich background of program successes, is a natural leader, and thrives in a dynamic environment. Additionally, he or she is able to manage program/project(s) in a cross-functional, matrix management environment where high-risk, cost, or impacts to the organization are paramount. Previous experience with Disaster Recovery is required. The Program Manager is able to see and maintain the "big picture" vision of strategic programs and interact with executive, business, and functional leadership to define and manage programs to materialize the business strategy. He or she leverages his or her expertise to drive decision making on all aspects of the program/project activities and mitigates erroneous decisions. Key responsibilities include: - Defines and coordinates the securing of commitments from cross-functional groups and external providers in terms of resources, cost, schedule, and performance - Finds creative solutions to issues that jeopardize program goals within budget or resource constraints - Produces all relevant program management deliverables such as program objectives and requirements, risk assessments, program plans, program status reports, open issues logs, change logs, action items list etc.; program issues will be escalated to sponsors on a timely basis for decision resolution and disposition - Plans, facilitates, and leads all sessions including but not limited to program and project teams. - Coordinates core and extended team meetings, along with tracking all issues and actions for the program - Manages key milestones and deliverables (following the PMO established methodology), issues, change management, risks, go/no-go decisions, user acceptance validations and approvals - Provides management, oversight and administration of Project Managers assigned to projects within applicable programs - Tracks and manages all aspects of a given program, from the requirements gathering phase through to Implementation - Tracks the portfolio of programs and reports health across all project managements discipline including cost, schedule, scope and quality - Communicates progress, issues, and status to all teams and stakeholders including but not limited to the PMO - Provides calm, steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, rapid change, and aggressive deadlines - Assists the PMO leasership with the development and implementation of PMO strategy, establishing the PMO function as a center of excellence, institutionalizing and maturing the PM life cycle methodology, and advancing the capabilities of program management and project management. - Organizational responsibility for developing, managing and motivating large multi-disciplinary program team(s) to support large and/or complex application/system development efforts/process change initiatives.
