SAP FICO Functional Consultant Morgantown, WV Job Description: This position requires a depth of knowledge in the SAP finance modules along with external tax interface SABRIX. Understand and apply new technologies requiring coordination of applications across program requirements. Must be a functional expert in configuration of the SAP Finance functions. In-depth knowledge of financial integration points to other modules, including, but not limited to MM, SD and PM. Experience and knowledge of configuring GL, AR, AP, and Fixed Assets. Experience and knowledge of configuring Bank Accounting, including Lockbox. Experience and knowledge of configuring the FI touch points with other modules, including CO, MM and SD. High level of initiative for ensuring continuous improvement of existing SAP FI/CO implementation. Strong understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry sector. Understanding of integration points within SAP and other systems to fully grasp impact of all proposed system changes. Customer focus and willingness to support end users and team members on SAP finance processes and issues. Must possess ability to stay personally organized and efficient. Ability to manage multiple issues at once and prioritize own work. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Unquestioned honesty, integrity and professionalism in all interaction with team members and leadership. Work directly with the Global Center of Excellence, Business Owners and Development team to prioritize issues and projects within the finance area. Implementation experience on global SAP template across all regions Implementation experience on global business processes in conjunction with the SAP template Communicate with users, business analysts, and information technology personnel regarding issue resolution and the impact of system changes. Analyze and solve complex system problems as part of the overall SAP Finance support. Provide oversight and/or participation in projects involving development and deployment of SAP finance modules. Follow appropriate change control procedures including the creation and ownership of Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Testing. Provide coaching and consulting to business owners and peers on FI/CO solution. Document issues and solutions as problems are identified. Understand integration points within SAP and other systems to fully grasp impact of all proposed system changes. Assist with the development of End-User SAP Training for finance functionality. Stay abreast of new functionality offered by SAP in the finance area to take advantage of enhancements as they become available. Assist in the training of new users, as related to project roll-outs, enhancement and break-fix initiatives. Actively be involved in project work and break-fix/support initiatives simultaneously. Take the lead role in finance related assignments in order to organize all aspects of the work; including, but not limited to: coordination of testing, FSF updates, working with QA and QM Group and working with business counterparts. Keep configuration documentation updated with the most recent changes.
