Our client is looking for a strong Business Analyst with an extensive background with Mortgage Origination and or mortgage servicing. This will be a duel role with responsibilities that include business analyst and vendor relations, with the ability to be informed and make knowledgeable strategy decisions and suggestions. Must have worked in a Mortgage Origination or have project servicing experience. Responsibilities may include: Manages project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques Actively manages the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project plan Establishes basic scope control procedures Develops documentation; monitors and reports project status; assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation Initiates and maintains reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business units and ensure continuous efficient management of projects; gathers input and feedback Analyzes and reports project status and research information; monitors project performance to maintain the quality of services, deliverables, and content Effectively assists in directing Analyzes present-state, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation End to end requirements gathering and functionality Develops and executes systems testing Acts as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groups Performs enhancements and may test Mortgage Business Analyst Qualifications: 5+ years business analyst experience Mortgage experience Consumer lending experience Integration experience Very strong verbal and written communication skills Proactive, and a self-starter Significant experience in information technology; financial systems background preferred Experienced in working with executive stakeholders Experienced in being and liaison for a team of project managers and vendors Demonstrates an understanding of customer's tactical goals and effectively participates in the development and implementation of business solutions Aptitude to learn Good written and oral communication skills Ran projects from start to finish
