Job Responsibilities: - Developer will be responsible for user interface design and development solutions for web, desktop and mobile devices. Job Qualifications: - Five (5) plus years of industry experience as a UI developer or front-end developer in a cross-functional UX team, delivering successfully launched software and web applications. - Proven experience in developing compelling, standards-compliant user interfaces using C/C++, .NET, JAVA, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and other web 2.0 development frameworks. - Experience designing applications for a variety of platforms including web, desktop and mobile. - Appreciation for and understanding of all phases of human-centered design, user interface design and development, and contemporary user interface design conventions. - Hands-on expertise with back-end technology: Java, PHP, or Ruby. - Hands-on expertise with services: cloud hosting, APIs, system integration. - Has a track record of working effectively with interaction and visual design teams to bring innovative, beautiful design concepts to life. - Is well-versed in all aspects of human-centered design and Agile development processes. - Works effectively with cross-functional teams and is able to communicate clearly with interaction and visual designers. - Experience in an agile development process. - Visual design skills are a plus. - Formal training in user centered design, interaction design and/or UI development.
