Project Manager - Mining Project Manager - $125
The role is as follows: Mine planning including design and scheduling; Drilling and blasting activities; Productivity analysis and optimisation; Tender preparation and review; Quality control; and Project based mine and project engineering support. The requirements are: Degree Qualification in Mining Engineering, or equivalent (e.g. Civil with mining major); Minimum 5 to 8 years previous open-cut mining experience in a similar role; Demonstrated capability in truck and shovel, drill and blast operations; Developed mine planning and scheduling skills (Vulcan, XPAC and XACT highly desired); Previous experience in coal quality or grade control management would be highly regarded; Previous experience in dragline operations would be well regarded. This is a 12month contract paying around the $125 per hour mark based in WA on a FIFO basis. They need someone to start in 3-weeks, interviews are available now.
