I am currently looking for an Business Analyst in Boston, that will be able to provide project analysis and support to an Investment Management client. (Institutional, Mutual Fund, Alternatives) and Business Operations (e.g. Finance, Compliance) for IT and Business projects. Principal Responsibilities: - Project and Enhancement request forms: o Perform detailed analysis of business processes and procedures. o Provide detailed analysis to support the implementation/enhancement of software applications, including: o Data modelling o Interfaces o Reporting requirements etc o Comply with our client's standard project process requirements. - New Investment Initiatives (NII) for New Products: o Define system enhancements, if required o Support and UAT testing and Go Live of product - Implementation o Work with line management and the project manager to: - Support user acceptance testing of systems and procedures, including the production of test plans. - Establish and document new operational procedures that include appropriate audit and controls to support new or changed processes. - Identify training requirements and establish or organise appropriate training programmes. - Achieve the project deadlines o Maintain a level of expertise in specific IT systems, as determined by line management and provide analysis support to these systems to resolve system errors etc. as required. o Provide analysis support to IT maintenance/enhancement projects. o Establish a clear statement of the goals for any project; obtain the input and approval of senior management of these goals. o Undertake or support feasibility studies, cost benefit analysis and gap analysis as required by individual projects. o Provide recommendation and identify issues and implementation strategies. o Maintain awareness of Fund Management industry standards o Identify requirements and recommendations based on accepted business/IT best practice, industry standards, legal/regulatory requirements and our client's strategic objectives. - Investment Management Front Office processes (asset allocation, portfolio modelling etc.) - Dealing and Compliance Processes - Investment Accountings and supporting processes (corporate actions, reconciliations, income etc. - Performance and client reporting - Strong Excel Skills Contract is for 8 months, if you are interested feel free to respond.
