Supply Chain Specialist
Our client in Santa Clara is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist. We are seeking an experienced supply chain NPI document specialist in our Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis business. In this exciting role, you will be working with teammates in marketing, Q/A, support, and supply chain to set up and release products for customer delivery. Administers and coordinates activities associated with new product set-up in SAP, including implementation of part set-up/BOM changes requested by project team members via ECO. You are one of the key gatekeepers for the information about product, parts, BOMs, etc. and release and/or discontinuance in SAP ERP system. Will monitor associated inter-functional or worldwide activities. Serves as a focal point within the organization to track the details within ERP systems (SAP and Oracle) of NPI and engineer processes from design conception, initial launch, manufacturing, supply chain, through product discontinuance. Provides services to assure data quality in SAP system and support Supply Chain activities. Facilitates inter-functional/world-wide efforts to assure optimal flow of information associated with product release, transfers, ECO, discontinuance and obsolescence. Requirements: BS or equivalent training and experience in supply chain, information technology or other related fields, requires a minimum of 5 years directly related work experience - Experiences in supply chain is essential - Ability to learn very quickly.
