Job Title: Essbase & Planning Architect Location: Milwaukee, WI Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Expert Knowledge / Experience in Essbase / Planning 7-10 years BI related experience with 4-6 years experience developing and architecting solutions using ESSBASE • Hyperion ESSBASE/Planning System 9 certification needed. • Working with Planning models, web forms, default and custom multicurrency functions etc. • Working with both ASO and BSO databases • Working with batch scripts, end to end automation • Designing & trouble shooting complex calculations. • Partitioning experience preferred. • Broad technology footprint experience (UNIX, multiple database platforms) • Alternative actions for problem resolution. • Develops task level estimates. • Develops program specifications. • Provides input on project schedules Desired:• Excellent problem solving skills, verbal and written communication skills, Structured, methodical thinker • Full understanding of project life cycle and development methodologies • Can leverage best practices from previous implementation experience and provide solutions to address various business requirements.
