Address the IT Architecture and tools *Emerging Application Development Technologies and Frameworks. -Detailed understanding of selected emerging technologies & frameworks - Awareness of adoption levels for key mainstream and industry specific technology standards, including best practice guidance and technology migration strategies and techniques - Examples: J2EE, Microsoft .Net, Web Services, and Business Intelligence Integration -Address the IT Architecture for assembling and connecting applications. Requires knowledge of new in-house applications, legacy applications, and third party applications Examples: messaging, Service Oriented Architecture framework Solutions *Emerging Application Development Technologies & Frameworks. -Detailed understanding of selected emerging technologies & frameworks -Awareness of adoption levels for key mainstream and industry specific technology standards, including best practice guidance and technology migration strategies and techniques -Examples: J2EE, Microsoft .Net, Web Services, and Business Intelligence -Web Design and Presentation Layer - Define the IT Architecture needed to deliver robust user interfaces to end-user devices, e.g., desktop, phone, and PDA - Examples: mobile, portals and voice response units *Expected Responsibilities: Strategic planning Consulting Ability to communicate on multiple levels and mediums Excellent verbal and written communcation skills for documentation and presentations Tasks and Responsibilities: *Suggested Experience & Qualifications: -Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience -Exposure to multiple business functions -Current on technology through training and independent research -Ten or more years of financial services experience that includes advising senior business leaders on a wide range of business issues -Demonstrated ability to manage large complicated strategic project and product initiatives across multiple and layered lines of business -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Exceptional interpersonal skills; Must be able to foster a collaborative and effective work environment that influences change and promotes a drive for results -Critical strategic thinker that can execute on details -Understanding of TIAA-CREF's clients, products and technologies
