Technical Application Architect (Siebel) Atlanta, GA 6 Months Responsibilities: Establish short and long term roadmap for application operation efficiency and technical debt reduction. Evolve and steward Siebel development standards and practices Overall ownership and responsibility for the functional and non-functional operation of the Siebel platform Review application design, code and unit test results for adherence to Siebel standards and best practices. Work directly with business clients and solution architects to determine business solutions that fit in overall enterprise architecture picture. Review and maintain Siebel licenses as needed. Mentor onshore and offshore development team. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Required Minimum of 10 years experience on Siebel application with 5 years in technical architect role, including leadership in the following areas: Configuration EAI/EIM Architecture; Gateway Server, Enterprise Server, Siebel Server, Web Server and Database Server Use of Siebel in a clustered environment (experience in Cluster configuration and management required) Siebel Data Models and RDB Data Modeling expertise Siebel on Oracle databases; specifically Oracle RAC. Siebel EAI-Integration workflows, Web services, Integration objects, Siebel Adapters, EAI transport adapters, VBCs SOA, WSDL, DTD, XSL Siebel configuration and Scripting experience Siebel Communications vertical experience, specifically in Order Management and Asset-based ordering Wider knowledge of Siebel functionality and integration technologies. Deep Oracle database and SQL experience. Experience across stakeholders levels – executive, developer, vendor, etc. Siebel Configurator and Product Model design. Familiarity with Siebel deployment and software configuration management best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Self starter who can work effectively independently as well as in cross functional team environments. Desired Bachelors or technical degree. Siebel Certification (8.0 and higher) and documented continued exposure to Siebel best practices. Knowledge of programming language/ VB skills/ Exposure to XML / Java. Good RDBMS concepts - preferably Oracle and Knowledge of PL, PL/SQL. Knowledge of integration approaches and conversant with SOA fundamentals. Experience in automation solutions. Order to Cash solution experience in hybrid Siebel (i.e. not solely Siebel) environments. Experience in telecom industry.
