An immediate opportunity is available for a Scientist position within the Analytical Sciences group at Amgen's Seattle Washington facility.  The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team providing process development analytical support for early and late stage clinical protein therapeutics. Primary responsibilities include the development of methods, characterization of process and product related species and oversight of analytical testing comprising an array of techniques such as HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, and mass spectrometry.  The individual will also interface with different groups within Amgen including Regulatory, Quality Labs and Manufacturing. Further responsibilities include the preparation of regulatory documents, participation in project meetings, and communication of results and progress towards goals.  The successful candidate will also provide strategic and tactical input to various analytical efforts and technology implementation programs across Amgen.
