Sr. Network Engineer- Senior-Tier Two Support - Senior Engineers possess 5-7 years job-related technical experience and advanced equipment certifications. These engineers have extensive knowledge of networking protocols and an experience level that provides in depth trouble shooting skills. The Tier Two Engineer receives trouble ticket handoffs from the Tier One Engineers. The Tier Two Engineer provides a leadership role in disaster recovery activities. Tier Two escalates to Tier Three after 2 hours. Requirements: * Cersonnel must have 5-7 years WAN/LAN Network management, Network Security and TELCOM experience and / or preferably experience gained in these areas from working in a Network Operations-management Center (NOC); * Should be well versed in IP routing and transport. Must be familiar with BGP, IPVPN and MPLS architectures * Experience dealing with customers during problem resolution and operating under service level agreements highly desirable; * Hands-on experience with Cisco routers required; * Should possess core access * Candidate should have Bachelor's degree (desired) or Associates Degree (minimum) * *Must have DoD Secret clearance or be able to successfully pass the background investigation and qualify for SECRET clearance * *Must be able to work in a rotational shift environment across including weekends and holidays. * Candidates should hold at least a CCNA and CEH or CISSP.
