Email Sales/Marketing Letter/E-Shot - B2B Supplier to Retailer - Email Marketing Lead Generation Marketing Strategy Sales
Hello! I own a UK company that retails cycle inner tubes direct to customers mainly via eBay UK and Amazon. I have done some supplying to other companies when asked and want to expand to do it pro-actively in the UK. The main targets are; > Pram Stores > Outdoor Pursuit Centres > Holiday Centres > Cycle Fleet Companies > Tour Operators Basically companies that require cycle inner tubes but wouldn't have a supplier. (as they are not a cycle store). Approximately 20 products cover all their requirements, the orders are to ideally to be over 100 inner tubes (as this is the level to get drop shipping from my supplier in the UK) and the prices are much better for buyers. Volumes below this I will do directly. I also have access to tyres and other cycle parts but do not stock them. I'm looking to get orders/enquires directly in return to the email sent to them. On the positive side; I have an eBay store with over 5000 positive feedbacks selling inner tubes because on the negative side my website isn't up yet It's a B2B proposition; the first target I want to focus on are pram stores as 3 products cover all their needs. See attached a piece of work I have done (the sort of additional piece to put in an email) to highlight why they require these products e.g. they fit all of their customers prams/buggies/strollers/push chairs etc. They are a low value product RRP £7 but they are a necessity product in demand by their customers, but perhaps more important to them is they are a great product to get customers back in their stores to then make more sales to them for higher ticket items. Failing that any stores with a Facebook account can literally say "we now have tubes, buy your backups now" and they could sell them all in 48 hours. It really depends on the store's initiative. With the other company types in the list; they are not buying them for selling, they'd be buying because of necessity for their own cycles. A far easier sell if they don't have a supplier. That said there is less immediacy to place an order (albeit potentially larger orders and the 100+ boxes I've previously sold come from tour operator orders). The profit margin for myself is low as I'm essentially moving them from my supplier to them not my own source of inner tubes. i.e. I'm generating sales for them via my company/marketing/reputation in effect. It could be as simple as a great email title and few sentences offering to be of assistance in a supply capacity or a great sales piece that is required for the pram shops to take immediate action. Either way, you'll be able to see I have basic photoshop/design skills, a marketing degree, a sales background and a company that works and products that are in constant demand. I want your help to get the ball rolling with these stores to generate sales. The stronger the sales email the better is the brief, mainly taking my best suggestions mixing in the correct wording/email format and then I'll contact the stores one by one to test it. (email format is KEY so internet/html skills are vital to get the email to arrive and avoid spam filters etc). I'm looking to develop a great working relationship with an individual, as there is a lot of potential to do more work if this is a success. (Cycling knowledge is preferable).
