Project Manager Lead - Internal Communications
Our San Francisco, California client is looking for a high-energy experienced and creative Internal Communications consultant who is looking for a challenging opportunity to help lead and drive internal communication strategies and programs across the company. This individual will be a part of the company-wide Internal Communications team. Superb written and communication planning skills are an absolute must. The individual will create and implement communication strategies for human resources programs, including annual benefits enrollment, HR technology upgrades and implementations and launching a new performance management program. This individual will also participate in planning and executing company-wide internal events and develop and drive communications related to topics such as culture change, business strategy updates, crisis communications, health reform, change management and business ethics and compliance. Individual will be expected to counsel, develop and implement communication strategy for senior executives and human resource subject matter experts. This person will be asked to develop and manage communications plans; write and publish internal stories and feature articles on our social media platform, as well as build presentations, videos and other communication vehicles including web casts, audio-casts and events. Relevant experience includes: public relations, crisis communications, social media management, presentation development, event planning and execution, messaging development and collateral development. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, communications, marketing or related field * A minimum of 10+ years experience in public relations, internal or employee communications, marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience is required * A minimum of 2 + years experience managing an internal or executive communications team * Experience with intranet, enterprise social media or interactive media and other web-based communication vehicles a plus * Experience collaborating with and providing counsel to senior corporate executives * Ability to make decisions and be accountable in a fast-paced environment * Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Ability to collaborate and interact effectively with people at all levels in an organization * Ability to translate complex ideas and strategies into simple straight forward language * Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, survey and web publishing tools
