Our customer is looking for eager, energetic and sharp Linux Engineers to install, configure, and customize their RHEL environment. Responsibilities: * Build-up of new server and piloting experience * Troubleshooting hardware and Vendor follow-ups * Patching (Server updates, Security, and Server Hardware related) * Remote Server management * Performance tuning and monitoring Expectations for this Linux Administrator: * 2-4 years of professional experience * Linux Administration * Production Support / Data Center support exposure * Problem Determination and Root cause analysis (nice to have) * Back-up and Restoration experience and procedure (TSM, Avamar and Mondo) * OS Migrations / Virtualization (nice to have) * Automation / Scripting (nice to have) * Knowledge on Incident, Problem and Change process (nice to have) * Good understanding of Server and Storage hardware * Knowledge on Networking - DNS, NIS, and LDAP (nice to have) * Knowledge and hands-on experience in clustering and troubleshooting (nice to have) * RHCE Certification (nice to have)
