Job Responsibilities: - Software Engineer is responsible for assisting in the creation, maintenance, and marketing of a Business Intelligence center of excellence. - Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Business Intelligence software such as Cognos, Tableau, and Reporting Services. - Interface with customers to gather requirements to build and maintain reports. - Manage small to medium sized projects. - Model analytical applications, BI (Business Intelligence) application development, administration including: - Security, data management and warehousing, OLAP, build multidimensional analysis models, data validation, data integration, data quality, master data, and MDM. - Tools include: - Cognos, Tableau, SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services, Microsoft Analytics Services and Microsoft Reporting Services. Job Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field required. - Incumbent should have successfully designed, authored, implemented, and supported BI reports and dashboards utilizing tools such as COGNOS, Tableau and/or OBIEE. - Demonstrated experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, SQL Server Integration Services, ETL Processes, Microsoft Analytics Services, and Microsoft Reporting Services. - Proven collaborative skills with functional system owners and users / requestors of reports. - Ability to present technical status and/or issues to management. Preferred Job Skills / Certifications / Knowledge / Education: - Functional / business knowledge of Supply Chain, HR and/or Finance. - Incumbent should have strong presentation and collaborative skills and be able to communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation /deliverables. - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. - Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills. - Project Management experience, particularly PMI PMP certification. - Incumbent should be disciplined and capable of following team and company rules, policies and procedures including protecting the integrity of Client, Supply Chain, Human Resource and other sensitive and/or protected data. - Experience and/or interest in OBIEE / OBIA is desired.
