Database Developer for Conversions - Oracle, SQL, SSIS The consultant will develop, implement, and maintain data transformation and data modeling process/systems; manage performance, tuning, research, evaluation of new tools/techniques related to ETL/data modeling. Required experience: Strong SQL Server and Oracle (TSQL,PL/SQL) Data conversion experience SSIS experience Responsibilities: -Develops, implements and maintains standard vendor data transformation and data modeling processes for conversion of client data into our claims management system. -Oversees and performs data transformations. -Manages performance of data transformations -Researches and evaluates new data transformation and data modeling tools and techniques. -Works with Client Technology Project Management group to facilitate mapping of data elements. -Creates and maintains software programs to import transformed data into claims management system. -Develops and maintains complex non-standard client data models. -Develops, revises, and implements policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines to effectively administer the use of the ETL tool and the data model -Plans and conducts structured testing of the data transformations and the data model to confirm functionality and performance. -Provides guidance and mentoring to Systems Analyst/Programmer Associate colleagues. Qualifications: Education & Licensing BS/BA degree with major in a computer field preferred. Experience Four (4) years of database programming experience required.
