Our client is currently seeking a Marketing Product Manager in Woodland Hills, California. Responsible for FI 51+ Custom product planning and execution throughout the custom process such as: * Liaison to sales and account management for custom requests * Ensure effective and efficient response to all customs requests * Support quality management efforts * Proactive management of custom account renewals * Creation of BLMs, SOBs, BS per custom requests * Participate in process improvement efforts as needed This position would work closely with team senior members to help deliver the best custom option on strategic accounts. Additional responsibilities may include: * Collects information on competitive landscape trends; monitors legislative changes impacting current or potential healthcare products * Partners with actuaries and finance to obtain/analyze relevant pricing factors for new or modified products * Participates as team member on cross-functional teams focused on product development. Prepares schedules, creates materials, and maintains historical project documentation * Analyzes current plans and financial factors to determine extent of customization needed to improve to improve customer satisfaction The successful Marketing Product Manager will meet the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * Requires a BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare or Public Health * Moderate quantitative analysis and model skills * Ability to interpret data sets and forecast future benefit / plan design trends * Knowledge of basic product designs and product management and planning concepts * Able to use advanced features of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access * Working knowledge of the company's healthcare products, functions and regulatory guidelines * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Ability to serve as member on cross-functional implementation or project teams * Generally requires a minimum of two years of relevant product management experience in healthcare or related industry (Equivalent combination of education and experience can be substituted) * Health Care Reform background preferred
