Position: IT Project Specialist Location: San Clemente, CA Duration: upto 12/31/2012 and extendable thereafter Client: SCE ***Must have Nuclear industry or Energy utility experience*** Essential Responsibilities: Typically posses fifteen or more years experience. Responsible for user liaison, system specifications, systems design, analysis, and project control. May also interact with Analysts and Programmers through implementation phases and occasionally assist in programming effort. Provide key link between ultimate user and computing resource This position is responsible for set up , maintenance and coordination of all project information and documents. These are documents 'to-and-from' vendors, regulatory agencies and internal SCE departments. Documents will be subject to audit. The ability to accurately store, update and retrieve project information and records is, but not limited to, the function of this position. The Project Supervisor is required to maintain all records (both electronic and hard copy) as well as a project timeline that reflects decisions made and information available at-the-time of the decisions (Prudency). The records and timeline are subject to future audits and are vital to project success Main responsibilities - Records Management - Database development & report generation Strong background in technical records, management & Nuclear regulatory affairs Must have Nuclear industry experience or Energy Utility industry experience What kinds of systems will this person be managing?
