My client provides a contract packing service to some of the best known and respected FMCG companies within the UK . With a reputation for quality, and a primary production unit equipped to provide a comprehensive and flexible range of packing solutions, including flow wrapping, bagging, cartoning and pot-filling, plus multi-head weighing systems, each offered in segregated packing areas. We are currently recruiting 6 Production Team Leaders with experience of working within the FOOD industry or within a BRC controlled environment. Various shifts available including 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 7.30am/pm-7.30pm/am (4on 4off shift Patten) Immediate Starts! Job Requirement Team Leaders are required to: 1.L ead and motivate a team of production staff through excellent communication, by example and leadership. 2.R ead and interpret the Customers needs as laid down in the packing specification and issue clear written and oral instructions as necessary in order to achieve production targets safely . 3.E nsure that production lines run efficiently and effectively; with their team, components and packaging available from the start of the shift and machines that are set to maintain efficiency throughout the shift. 4.T o achieve and maintain production targets with maximum output and minimum stoppages. 5.T o be aware of Quality requirements as laid down in the company manual procedure. 6.E nsure that production staff receive on going training to enable them to perform their duties efficiently and effectively; recording the training as required. 7.M aintain a high standard of personal hygiene (personal and clothes) both individually and throughout the team. 8. To maintain standards and suggest improvements for a safe working environment within an inclusive team atmosphere where individuals are recognised for their contributions. 9. To contribute suggestions to improve quality and reduce waste. 10. Carry out any other duties as may be required by the Management for the needs of the company or its employees.
