People with development background are more than welcome to apply but only if you were/are exposed to infrastructure activities. The client does not develop websites, only maintain and troubleshoot in case of issues. Some skills we are looking for: Mandatory ,* Developed technical, analytical and problem-solving skills ,* Communication skills (verbal and written) ,* Deep knowledge in infrastructure configuration and architecture with a focus on web hosting technologies with the following Microsoft products: o Windows Server 2003/2008 o IIS (6.0 and higher): e.g. Creating/Deleting/Managing/Troubleshooting IIS related objects; o MS SQL Server 200x e.g. Creating/Backing up/Restoring/Deleting/troubleshooting database related objects as well as SQL users management; Desirable ,* SharePoint 2007 and 2010 technology with a focus on publishing sites; ,* LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP;) ,* Knowledge on Content Management Systems (CMS, Umbraco, Sitefinity, Drupal, WordPress); ,* Knowledge about website security and related hacking mechanisms; ,* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related Engineering (e.g. computer engineer); ,* Experience with DNS related to web hosting; ,* Experience on Networking related to web hosting (Load Balancer, Firewall); ,* Good understanding of coding/programming and compilation related to ASP.NET ; ,* Experience on managing websites in multiple and different data centers; ,* Good understanding/experience with MS Active Directory (AD);
