IT Project management: drive delivery of IT deliverables to the business managing time, scope, cost and quality. PM is expected to be effective in leading team, managing risks, communicating, and complying with IT Governance controls. X Project Manager will be assigned to the managing delivery of projects within Fixed Income technology space. Specifically the Project Manager will be responsible for the following: X Establishing and Maintaining Project Governance for medium and large sized projects X Developing and implementation of Stakeholder Communication plans, ensuring lines are open between Stakeholders X Managing change management processes and resolving/escalating issues as necessary X Managing Project Performance and providing status updates to the Stakeholders and PMO of this performance X Identify and manage Stakeholders, including facilitating signoffs and meetings X Ensure adherence to project management standards and best practices. X Providing a resource plan that meets the skill requirements of the project and deliver on budget X Developing project plans and obtaining agreement and signoff on them, then executing against them X Managing procurement for hardware, software and consultancy contracts in collaboration with Procurement and IT resources X Manage vendor relationship as it pertains to the project X Maintaining overall project budget X Assisting budget and forecast management across multiple projects for the entire project portfolio X Role will include both continuous improvement projects where a platform has already been deployed and new products or functionality are constantly added. The Project Manager will tackle these work items as mini projects that aggregate into a large release. Essential X 3+ years of prior working experience working on in a fast paced trading environment X 5+ years working experience as Project Manager X Formal training in Project Management Methodology such as PMI or Prince 2 X Good understanding of Fixed Income products cash and derivatives products X Able to demonstrate understanding of SDLC Desirable X PMI Certification X 3+ years working experience in Fixed Income Markets Princeton Information is one of the nation's top five privately-held IT consulting firms, in business since 1985.
