Oracle EBS Manufacturing Business Systems Analyst We seek a Principal Oracle Manufacturing Business Systems Analyst. This person will work with the functional Operations personnel in the development and support of client’s business processes and strategies in the areas of Manufacturing, Operations and Logistics, Quality, and Master Data Management functions. Client is a leading supplier of precision motion products, precision technologies, lasers and laser systems, color management, and semiconductor systems to a variety of markets. Responsibilities: Be accountable for Oracle Manufacturing knowledge, providing leadership and independent initiatives in facilitating information gathering, structured documentation and presentation of findings to all levels of management. Conduct analyses of functional business process and functional requirements and participate in the development of business cases in the support of process changes and/or IT projects. Manage projects with varying degrees of complexity, provide production support to the business users and system processes, and ensure high level of IT service. Document requirements and actively participate in design, configuration and testing of Oracle R12 implementation projects while providing support to the existing Release 11i implementation. Work on R12 upgrade project will commence from the 4th quarter of 2012 or the 1st quarter of 2013. Lead R12 Manufacturing projects and ensure key stakeholders are involved in the design process. Implement automated solutions through a formal SDLC process including requirement definition, project planning and software testing in a Sarbanes Oxley compliant environment. Limited domestic and international travel may be required Qualifications: BA/BS in Business Operations and Logistics Management, Information Systems, or related field. MBA strongly preferred 10+ years experience with business process re-engineering and direct Oracle ERP implementations 7+ years of direct experience with Oracle ERP Manufacturing module Previous experience in a functional business role supporting a $500M+ global manufacturing company, a global Oracle ERP implementation and its user community Experience implementing and supporting functional processes and technical design in an Oracle ERP system environment required Strong functional knowledge of Oracle ERP suite release 11i / R12 Develop, coordinate, and implement test plans for functional changes, bug fixes, enhancements, patches and upgrades Strong technical knowledge of the underlying Oracle tables, integration points, data conversion and technology processes, as they are critical to success in this role Candidates should have at least 2 full life cycles with hands-on configuration experience in multiple modules Candidate should have experience with OBIEE and Discoverer Must possess excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical users through both written and oral communication Experience with Oracle Financial module is desirable Migration experience from Oracle EBS 11i environments is advantageous Extensive knowledge and understanding of Oracle EBS applications-based solutions is a plus! ***Blackstone Technology Group is an equal opportunity employer.
