Type: Contract Duration: 6 months Job Description: Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Project Manager to run SDLC projects within the Quantitative Risk Technology Project Management Office. Responsible for the project management for Quantitative Risk application development activities including BAU and tactical development projects, Regulatory and Compliance projects and complex project development initiative programs that encompass numerous work streams. Responsibilities include: Define project scope and objectives; take assigned project from original concept through final implementation. Create, maintain and oversee project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time requirements, establishing deadlines, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project lifecycle, providing timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinating actions, and resolving conflicts. Develop tactical and strategic solutions/enhancements to support the goals of the initiatives. Work closely with business partners to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and/or program business processes. Review, analyze, and oversee creation of detailed documentation of business systems and user needs. Coordinate the development of all approved versions of business and functional specifications for specified applications. Review use cases and other technical documents with IT team ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical planning documents. Coordinate creation and successful execution of testing plan with assigned QA test resources. Oversee hand-off of completed system requests to appropriate stakeholders. Required Skills: 3-5 years of technical project management experience. PMO support experience. Capital Markets background. PCM/ECMS/Clarity experience. SharePoint site administration. Investment Banking or Credit Risk background. Business support or reporting experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint). Excel skills to support data analysis and report creation. Effective written and verbal communication skills. PMP certification.
