Job Description Principal Cloud Sales Executive - Healthcare Piscataway, NJ The Terremark Managed Security and Cloud Sales Executive has the responsibility to work directly with the Verizon Enterprise Sales (VES) Core Account Team as well as other channel partners to direct strategic sales activities in the healthcare vertical. The Terremark Managed Security and Cloud Sales Executive role is a sales overlay role but has the responsibility to drive new opportunities to closure in the areas of Security/disaster recovery, ITS/Enterprise Cloud, Co-location, hosting and remote applications management, or Outsourcing. Often times the Terremark Managed Security and Cloud Sales Executive is required to orchestrate between multiple departments to ensure a total solution is brought to a customer. This role requires very little supervision and is required to take a leadership role to drive revenue new business on behalf of Verizon Enterprise Sales. Job Description: Ensures that the established sales plans on a monthly / quarterly / annual basis for all established targets are met or exceeded The delivery of accurate and timely sales forecasting is required Consistent and accurate usage of SalesForce.com (SFDC) Display the ability to forecast sales at a plus or minus 10% accuracy rate Enough activity is required within accounts to ensure that projected new Terremark sales through Verizon Enterprise Sales and other channel partners are forecasted to establish a solid funnel per corporate standards Must work with account teams and customers to find solutions to customer's business issues Work with organizations within Verizon Enterprise Sales and 3rd Party Partners to develop a homogenous solution to meet the desired end to end customer solution Budgetary proposals and pricing should be developed by working directly with product management, product engineering, Insite descriptions, third party vendors and PCM for standard off-the-shelf solutions. The same information should be prepared for custom solutions. Demonstrates the ability to support high revenue accounts (i.e. Premier Accounts) to qualify, position, and close opportunities The proven ability to engage at executive levels within each account is required Creative thought on driving new revenue for the branches supported is required Challenge the account teams to think outside of normal processes and should demonstrate leadership qualities within their own team Required to work with regional legal department(s) to guide the recommended solutions through contract negotiations in the interest of closing new business Develop customer ready presentations and proposals with the help of the required support teams (standard or custom) is necessary Gather and consolidate market observations, and market trends. This information should be provided to product marketing to influence product development activities, features, roadmaps and pricing strategies Effectively manages communication and administrative activities through the delivery of high quality and informative content on any requested report or any deal specific updates requested by management Provide various levels of reports for top opportunities, weekly progress reports, branch director updates, account review documentation, as well as any ad hoc report requests generated by management Take creative, custom repeatable solutions as well as upcoming products and feature enhancements to account teams on a regular basis Demonstrate the ability to take a leadership role in creating a custom solution. In order to create custom solutions a thorough understanding of internal processes is required Work with Product Marketing to understand upcoming enhancements to be able train customers and account teams Ensure effective linkage with all support channels for which the Sales Manager has direct product responsibility Develop a process with account teams, VES sales managers, and directors to review top priorities weekly Frequent and consistent communication between assigned branches and direct management is required Shows continued self-improvement in the product discipline to further understand industry, and products Required Skills and Experience: Generally requires a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree and a minimum of 9+ years experience exceeding a quota in a managed IT services, cloud sales position. Advanced skills to perform complex work for a functional area and general knowledge of other areas; requires independent thinking; demands full use and application of principles, theories, concepts and technologies. A proven sales background within the strategic product discipline is required. The Terremark Managed Security and Cloud Sales Executive is required to have expertise within one or more of the following disciplines: Hosting, Cloud, and Remote Applications Management Managed Security Services Disaster Recovery We are looking for an aggressive individual who does not require assistance closing new logo business as well as expanding business within existing base is required. Specialized knowledge or expertise within the assigned strategic product industry is required. May include knowledge of designing an overall solution working with a Solution Architect (for standard off-the-shelf solutions), or understanding customer solutions, complex solutions, and pre-sales engineering.
