Job Description Consultant - Product Marketing New York, NY Position Responsibilities Interactive TV Business Development Job Description * Identify traditional television content partners and best-in-breed internet partners for FiOS TV widgets that enhance the programming and differentiate the FiOS TV service. * Communicate effectively the FiOS TV widget strategy, the capabilities of the FiOS TV widget platform and the competitive advantages of FiOS TV to content partners. * Manage all stages of the deal cycle including initial contact, product features, proposals, negotiating terms and contract closure. * Present new widget ideas to internal cross functional team consisting of product design, product marketing, content and engineering. * Balance and manage widget pipeline across categories, keeping revenue goals top of mind. * Manage business relationships and operational issues for 40+ currently deployed widgets * Identify market trends in the interactive TV space and assess impact/opportunities for Foist TV widgets Required Skills & Experience * At least 8 years experience in the converged technologies/digital media space (iTV, internet, wireless). * Understanding of Video and Internet technologies strongly preferred * Proven success in negotiating favorable terms and closing deals in a fast paced environment * Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize activities for maximum results * Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills * Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
