The Windows Server OS and Virtualization Support team designs, provides, and maintains the stability and availability of clients implementation of Microsoft's server based operating systems, of VMware's ESX product, and Citrix. The Development Team develops and supports tools, utilities, and scripts which automate the loads for the Windows, ESX, and Citrix servers. They also support tools and utilities used to automate Microsoft Cluster installs and support of the Windows Server Database. The team primarily utilizes Powershell and VBscript and on occasions uses C# to develop the customer tools and utilities which automate the load process. REQUIRED SKILLS: - Extensive Windows Server OS (2003 and 2008) and/or ESX Server installation, administration, and troubleshooting experience - Extensive experience automating loads/installs of the Windows Server OS and/OR ESX Server utilizing Powershell - Experience with VMware, Microsoft Cluster Server (Service), and/or Citrix - Vsphere Client and Virtualization Concepts experience - Experience with VBscript and Shell Scripting - General understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP - General knowledge of ITIL and Service Management concepts - C# (.NET) development experience is a plus - Windows Installer experience is a plus - General knowledge of Network, Security, and Storage concepts is a plus - Knowledge of project development lifecycle - Excellent customer service and communication skills - ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audience - Reliable, trustworthy, dependable - Team player Join TEKsystems() and get your career on the fast track.
