Job Description Lead System Consultant-Database Analysis Irving, TX * Subject Matter Expert and Technical Lead in the architectural design and support of all Oracle Database related products * Ensure proper configuration and security of the Oracle Infrastructure Architecture * Implement processes for monitoring and maintenance to ensure stability and optimal performance on all database servers * Develop and implement automation leveraging Oracle Grid Control for all Oracle DB related products * Responsible for providing periodic status to all levels of upper management on any outstanding database related issues and escalations to Oracle * Third party application support * Point of contact for all Oracle related issues * Ability to work independently * Ability to work late nights * Sets and follow standards and procedures * Works well with international resources Required: **Candidate MUST be available to work in the Irving, TX office** In-depth knowledge Oracle 11G including: * Enterprise Manager * Job scheduling * ASM * Oracle Data Guard * SQL Performance Analyzer * Creating and troubleshooting Stored Procedures. * Database replication * Ability to install and manage multiple Oracle instances in a clustered environment. * Database tuning * Managing databases through Grid control * Expertise in Oracle RAC , Data Guard, Database Upgrade and Migration * Expertise in Golden Gate * Experience in managing Oracle database deployments on VM technology * Able to independently handle escalation pertaining to any Oracle database issues * Mentoring and coaching DBA team members for Database standardization, automation and implementation of best practices * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Ability to work with developers and end users in a professional manner to resolve business critical problems in a high stress environment.
