I was wondering if you could give me a bit of advice for free, i have been to the citizens advice and they could not help, they had no idea. My Mum passed away and left a will, making myself and one sister Executors, we have a solicitor who has transferred mums money from her bank acount into his firms account, along with stocks and shares, pensions etc etc, this was done around March 2012, (with our permission), basically he has all Mums money in his firms account, he is holding onto this money until such time that my mums house has been sold. I was wondering if he is allowed to hold onto the bank account money until the house is sold, this could take weeks, months, years even, I would like to obtain some money from my mums estate which the solicitor is holding onto, surely the solicitor is not allowed to hold onto this money, is there anyway i can get him to release some or part of my mums money to me, one of three beneficiaries, before the house is sold. is there any legal wording/ phrase i can use to get him to release some money. many thanks Keywords: Legal, Paralegal
