Technical Account Manager, DoubleClick Search San Francisco, CA The area: Product & Technical Sales Support The Product & Technical Sales Support (PTSS) team serves as the primary point of contact for our global Sales, Business Development, and Partnerships teams to support our sales organization across all products. We provide tools so that our sales teams can focus on generating revenue and leverage our strong relationships with Google's Tech teams to enable our sales organization to do multi-solution selling, launch and support new products, and help and engage our users. The role: Technical Account Manager, DoubleClick Search Behind every advertising campaign at Google are systems to make it run. Behind every system are Googlers who provide seamless support to users and customers. As a Publisher Ad Serving Consultant you will lead and execute projects to support clients using DoubleClick publisher ad serving products (including DFP, DSM, Mobile, Video, Boomerang, and Adapt). These projects will include new implementations, product upgrades and custom solution advising. You work on multiple projects concurrently, either independently or on small teams. You advise customers on product configuration, product use, and business process improvement, combining your deep understanding of DoubleClick publisher products with industry best practices. The Global Advertiser Platform Solutions (GAPS) team keeps Google growing and profitable as trusted partners to our DoubleClick clients. As a DoubleClick Search (DS) Technical Account Manager (TAM), you will professionally partner and develop tactical and strategic relationships with a named list of top agency and marketer clients. As their trusted partner, you will proactively enable them to achieve their online search marketing objectives using DS technology via product consultation, training, and end user support. Responsibilities: * Scope and understand customer objectives to consult them on the application of DS technology and best practices to enable their success, by leveraging your product, industry, and client management expertise. * Partner with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Sales and Engineering to drive customer communications, feature prioritization, and technical issue resolution to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. * Act as a point of escalation for the resolution of complex client technical issues, from analysis and research to coordination of resources. * Inculcate client end-users on product usage, from the basics to best practices, via onsite and webinar training. * Initiate and drive to completion both short term and long term internal projects to both improve and scale solutions the team provides to our clients. Minimum qualifications: * BA or BS Degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant work experience). * 2 years experience working in a client-facing capacity. * Knowledge of SQL, HTML, and JavaScript or prior experience troubleshooting technical issues. Preferred qualifications: * Internet or advertising industry knowledge. * Excellent communication skills. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to read & understand programming language (this is not a programming position).
