The Role: The Project Manager will be working within the Infrastructure Services division focusing on Systems Development projects with authority and responsibility for all aspects of a significant, large complex projects and full accountability for actions taken and decisions made, both by self and the project team. Core Tasks: Delivering high-profile projects and programmes of work, establishing and maintaining correct structures to control and monitor the deliverables to the business Leading project planning, scheduling, controlling and reporting activities for strategic, high impact, high risk projects, ensuring comprehensive project, quality, and risk plans are prepared and maintained Contributing extensively to the annual planning and budgetary process Ensuring realistic estimates of costs, timescales and resource requirements are agreed and projects are monitored against these criteria, taking corrective action as necessary Managing risks, ensuring any strategic problems are identified, solutions are recognised and implemented in line with change control processes Managing, developing and maintaining resource plans and monitoring the deployment of individuals to ensure that they are contributing effectively whilst developing skills and experience Liaising with management at the highest levels within the business, managing their expectations for projects The Ideal Candidate: Proven experience within project management gained within a Telco and Technology/IT Managed Services organisation Demonstrate project management skills across multi-country locations (pan-European or International scale) Direct experience in all areas of project management from initiation through to planning, risk management and projectevaluation Proven experience within project management focusing on Network Infrastructure Roll-outs, Upgrades, Implementation and Systems Development Offer impressive stakeholder management, negotiation and influential skills Qualifications: MSP Foundation, or equivalent Prince 2 qualified and/or Project Management qualification ITIL v3.0 Foundation
