The Role: The Product Management Specialist will manage Colt’s 3 rd Party Access portfolio across the Sales divisions, collaborate with Carrier Relations teams to provide strategic direction for the 3 rd Party Access portfolio and drive action enabling the delivery of company revenue, sales, profitability, SLA and customer experience targets. The Product Management Specialist will develop, maintain and deliver the 3 rd party access product plan and define development requirements in line with the overall Marketing and Business plans across the Sales divisions. Core tasks: Specialise in the product management of products and services for 3 rd party Ethernet, Wholesale DSL services and MPLS interconnects for IP network expansion Manage the off-net Ethernet and wDSL rollout strategies including product specification and implementation projects Develop reporting capabilities and report on 3 rd Party Access revenue performance Monitor and report on key product performance indicators Be the 3 rd Party Access evangelist for internal and external customers, speaking at Access related product forums and customer events Create and maintain the 3 rd Party Access Product Plan to include Product performance statistics, SWOT analysis, portfolio strategy, product evolution and roadmap planning Prepare Product Requirements Documents and define necessary product developments to serve the requirements of other services/products which employ 3 rd party access components Support the preparation and implementation of Go-to-Market activities Run Product Trainings for CCS Sales and Pre-Sales teams Support the creation and maintenance of product documentation for 3 rd Party Access capabilities Drive product life cycle management for the 3 rd Party Access portfolio Provide day to day 3 rd line product support (e.g. non-standard technical queries, advice and direction) to product marketing, technical solutions, operations, Sales and Presales teams Represent the 3 rd party access portfolio with analyst and PR relations Support the development and implementation of List Price Strategy and Positioning for Products and services that utilise the 3 rd Party Access Services Own and manage product costs for 3 rd Party Access portfolio Provide accurate forecasting and planning assumptions for the product portfolio The Ideal Candidate: Direct experience of working within a Telco/ Managed IT Services environment Demonstrate experience of working within Data Product Management including Access and DSL product and services, with a focus on the service provider market Proven experience and knowledge of 3 rd party Ethernet, Wholesale DSL services and MPLS interconnects for IP network expansion with application to both wholesale and enterprise customers and the relevant marketplace Demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal and in writing) and proven expertise in presentation techniques and press and analyst relations Being able to present and position complex topics from a customer perspective Excellent English language skills (writing and verbal), any other European language is favourable
