Install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain various MS SQL Server databases. Support development team in the design, documentation and tuning of Production databases. Monitor and optimize system performance using index tuning, disk optimization and other methods. Analyze database bottlenecks and provide solutions to solve them. Perform ad-hoc queries and reports in support of management. Skills/Qualifications: At least 3-4 years of hands-on work experience in administering SQL Server 2000/2005, including backups and other tasks with exposure to hardware, Operating System and SQL logs. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with management and software engineers. Expected Travel Time: None
