Job Description: Adecco is currently recruiting for a Lead Quality Technician for a well-known manufacturer in Erie, PA. Applicants should be able to insure scheduled inspections of raw materials, production parts, and finished inventory are completed and meet or exceed customer expectations. This person is responsible for the Quality System Maintenance and to make recommendations for improvements. This position also works with the Production and Process Group to provide accurate feedback, supports the quality inspectors to ensure products and processes comply with specifications, and analyzes failure, corrective and preventative action documentation. Requirements: -Degreed or experience in engineering, manufacturing or quality principles -Experience with measurement tools (calipers, scales, gauges, etc.) -Fundamental understanding of SOPs and Work Instructions -Familiar with the FPA (First Piece Approval) Process -Candidates should have PAPP, 8d, FEMA and layout experience. Preferred candidates will have previous employment in plastics and injection molding, direct experience in a quality-related role and fundamental understanding of LEAN Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles and tools.
